Dowsing At It’s Finest
Just as radios pick up information from unseen radio waves, the pendulum is a powerful antenna that receives information from the vibrations and energy waves emitted by people, places, thoughts and things.
Noted physicist Albert Einstein was known to perform impressive feats with dowsing tools. He believed that it had to do with electromagnetism: just as birds migrate following the earth’s magnetic field, dowsers react to energies that are unseen and still not fully understood. Some people say that the pendulum creates a bridge between the logical and intuitive parts of the mind. Some say that the pendulum connects them with a higher power and call it “divining” as the information is believed to come from a divine source. Research by many scientists indicates that the pendulum responds to electromagnetic energy that radiates from everything on Earth.
No one knows for sure how the pendulum works, but the important thing is that it does work! As Thomas Edison is said to have replied when asked about electricity: “I don’t know what it is, but it’s there, let’s use it.” Other famous dowsing advocates in history include Leonardo De Vinci (inventor), Robert Boyle (father of modern chemistry), Charles Richet (nobel prize winner), and General Patton (U.S. Army).
Having said that, let me tell you about my latest experience. First I’ll start by sharing that I had a bit of a panic attack last week, when trying to ride the L.A. Metro, located several stories underground, and requiring a passenger to descend via escalator, down down down. I for some reason hated the feeling, and even after making it to the boarding area, I had to turn around and leave.
Now, last night I had a nagging itch deep in my right ear. I used a q tip and went to bed. The itch became an irritated feeling all night. This morning I told Jimmie about it- we used some natural tea tree drops in my ear but 5 hours later, not the full relief I am looking for. Then he told me to dowse for a remedy- good idea! I dowsed for the most beneficial remedy, from the 151 remedy list, for my current ear condition. The dowsing wheel I used has 80 and 26 on the same spoke of the wheel. My pendulum pointed to that spoke and I asked, “Is it remedy 80?”. No… “Is it remedy number 26?”. Yes…
This is the exciting part; Remedy number 26 turns out to be borax, which turns out to be used for (amongst other things) ear issues, and dizziness or fear, especially when going downward. Knowing about my current ear disturbance, and my panic attack last week in the subway underground, could there have been a better pick? I’ve just let a 200c borax melt under my tongue, and within 3 minutes- instant relief in my ear. Did it cure my fear when ‘going downward’? I’ll never know- going back and trying the Metro is NOT an option, period.
P.S. Borax is a good children’s remedy for kids who are calm and quiet in your arms (the original ‘hands-on healing’), but don’t like to being lowered down into their cribs. Wish I knew this 26 years ago…
