Jani And Bodhi Alternatives
Everyone wants to know about Jani and Bodhi Schofield, since their dad appeared on Dr. Drew a few months ago, and originally on TLC. For those of you who don’t know Jani, she’s one of the youngest on record being diagnosed with early onset schizophrenia, showing symptoms as early as 5 years old. A further unusual twist to this story is that her younger brother Bodhi, who has been diagnosed autistic, is now displaying behaviors similar to Jani’s and the fear is that he is schizophrenic as well. Schizophrenic siblings- how bizarre.
The Dr. Drew show focused on controlling the violent tendencies of the schizophrenic population with early identification of the problem being key. It also touched on the guilt the parents had, and of course, that ‘it was nobodies’ fault.
A very sophisticated audience called in with questions. Perhaps the only way 
for me to get Michael Schofield’s attention would have been to call in myself, but I doubt if I’d get by their screeners- (I would be promptly labeled a crackpot practicing hocus-pocus and put on a long and permanent hold!). Not one caller asked Michael or Susan if they thought vaccinations may have damaged their children. Not one caller discussed diet, detoxing heavy metals, homeopathy, or the Sai Sanjeevini pattern for schizophrenia. These folks are all about genes (which we now know we can change), and heredity, and “you’re not responsible” followed by thorazine and psychotherapy. That is the protocol and they are sticking to it. They all seem resigned to having absolutely no control over getting these conditions or not- apparently they never read

Are the Schofield’s just overwhelmed with email or have they turned a deaf ear and a blind eye to the perils of vaccines and the dramatic improvement natural healing can bring? I don’t get it- these are young, bright, modern, dedicated parents living in Southern California where 
alternative thinking is widespread, who seemingly would try anything to help their children- so why hasn’t any of this been introduced to them? If you ask me, they are all barking up the wrong tree.

I, too, am an energy practitioner – more specifically – a Polarity Practitioner, as well as a licensed massage therapist. And I whole-heartedly agree with your professional perspective…hOwever…
I might suggest that you brush up on your ethics a bit. The Schofields are human beings doing the very best they can in the face of adversity many of us will never know the likes of. Your concerns of health and wellness – and alternative options available are, in my opinion, spot-on. But to question this family’s judgement or lack there of – seriously…?! ANY practitioner worth their salt knows that respecting a client is second only to “Do no harm”. And while the Schofields may not be clients they are human beings worthy of respecting – in this case, by virtue of the “Air Element” – uplifting effortlessly.
To that end – and again – I fully agree that alternative options ought be more present and available – and until that time comes, we’re all in this together, right?
I have the utmost respect for these parents, and had intended to make that clear…I am sorry if I fell short in that area, and let me underline that I am not judging, nor commenting on their judgement. I think they are extraordinary.
