PASSOVER

For those of you who don’t know, Passover is a 7 day festival that Jewish people celebrate as a commemoration of their liberation  from slavery in ancient Egypt, by God, and  their birth as a nation under the leadership of Moses, over 3300 years ago.

The Passover story has importance to everyone, because it is a reminder that no matter what our lives are like today, before freedom came slavery.

It is a Jewish story that calls for the identification with all humankind. Let us all pray for peace, love, social justice,  good health, and unity.
